About the film: Delicate Sound of Thunder - video of Wayne Isham - filming of Pink Floyd's concerts, which were part of a tour in support of the 1987 album A Momentary Lapse of Reason in New York ("Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum") from August 19 to 23, 1988 year and on the square in front of the Palace of Versailles (Place d'Armes, Château de Versailles) in France on June 21 and 22, 1988. The production of the light show of the filmed concerts was done by Marc Brickman, producing music by David Gilmore. The footage displayed on the round screen above the stage, accompanying the performance of musical compositions during the concert shown in the film, is a video shot by Storm Thorgerson and animation by Ian Eames (during the performance of “Time”). The film was released on June 13, 1989 in VHS and Laserdisc formats.
