August é o décimo álbum solo de estúdio do músico de rock inglês Eric Clapton, lançado em 1986 pela Duck Records/Warner Bros. Records. Descrito como um álbum de "hard R&B", foi produzido principalmente por Phil Collins, em associação com o antigo associado de Clapton, Tom Dowd.
O álbum abre com "It's in the Way That You Use It", produzido por Dowd e Clapton, coescrita com Robbie Robertson, ex-The Band. Foi destaque no filme de Paul Newman e Tom Cruise, The Color Of Money, em outubro de 1986, um mês antes do lançamento do álbum. Duas faixas, "Run" e "Hung Up On Your Love", foram escritas pelo veterano compositor da Motown, Lamont Dozier, enquanto "Tearing Us Apart" foi um dueto com Tina Turner e "Bad Influence" foi um cover de um número do músico de blues Robert Cray. "Holy Mother", coescrita com Stephen Bishop, foi dedicada à memória de outro membro da The Band, Richard Manuel, que havia tirado a própria vida no início daquele ano.
"Behind the Mask", foi gravada por sugestão de Greg Phillinganes. Diz a lenda que ao ouvir a faixa original da Yellow Magic Orchestra, por volta de 1980-82, o produtor Quincy Jones se apaixonou pela faixa, e ele e Michael Jackson gravaram sua própria versão com novas letras de Jackson durante suas sessões de Thriller. A faixa nunca entrou no álbum Thriller, mas Phillinganes, na época tecladista de Jackson, mais tarde lançou sua própria versão da música em seu álbum Pulse de 1984, que lembra a versão de Clapton que se tornou o single principal de August no Reino Unido. A versão de Jackson foi finalmente lançada em 2010 no álbum póstumo Michael.
A banda de estúdio de Clapton para o álbum incluía Collins na bateria e backing vocals, o baixista Nathan East e o tecladista Greg Phillinganes; saxofonista Michael Brecker, trompetistas Randy Brecker e Jon Faddis, e trombonista Dave Bargeron. Collins, East e Phillinganes recriariam seus papéis de estúdio para as aclamadas apresentações ao vivo de Clapton nos dois anos seguintes.

Unplugged é um álbum ao vivo do cantor e compositor britânico Eric Clapton, gravado em 1992 como parte da série MTV Unplugged.
Gravado em janeiro no Bray Studios e lançado em agosto de 1992 pelo selo Reprise/Duck Records, o álbum inclui uma versão do aclamado single "Tears in Heaven" e a primeira versão acústica de "Layla", tendo sido bem recebido pela crítica especializada. Considerado um dos mais expressivos trabalhos de Clapton, o álbum vendeu mais de 26 milhões de cópias em todo o mundo, sendo o álbum ao vivo mais vendido da história e vencedor de três categorias dos Prêmios Grammy.
Clapton conduziu o concerto diante de um pequeno público no dia 16 de janeiro de 1992 nos estúdios Bray Studios, em Windsor, Inglaterra. Além das faixas incluídas no álbum, a performance contou com algumas versões antigas de "My Father's Eyes" e "Circus Left Town", juntamente com "Worried Life Blues" e uma versão de "Rollin' and Tumblin'". Logo após dirigir-se ao público com um tímido "é isto!", Clapton disse que precisavam performar cinco canções novamente. A segunda apresentação de "My Father's Eyes" foi seguida de uma pequena pausa e uma performance inesperada de "Rollin’ and Tumblin'", que Clapton havia gravado com Cream. Timepieces: The Best of Eric Clapton é um álbum de grandes sucessos do músico britânico Eric Clapton. O álbum foi originalmente lançado pela RSO/Polydor Records em abril de 1982.
Em 1982, Eric Clapton deixou a RSO e a Polydor para formar sua própria gravadora, a Duck Records, com distribuição pela Warner Bros.
As músicas do álbum foram todas lançadas como singles, com apenas uma música - "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" - nunca lançada em um álbum da RSO.
Os lançamentos originais em vinil e cassete continham a versão ao vivo de "Cocaine" do lançamento de 1980 'Just One Night'; a edição posterior do CD excluiu isso em favor da versão de estúdio de "Slowhand", e também incluiu a música "Let It Grow" de "461 Ocean Boulevard".
