Backtracks é um box set da banda australiana de hard rock AC/DC. Esta é uma coleção de raridades de estúdio e ao vivo da banda juntas em um boxset. As faixas foram todas remasterizadas para corresponder à qualidade de som do restante das reedições do catálogo AC/DC da Columbia Records.
A Edição Standard (lançada como uma versão "econômica" menor para aqueles que não podiam pagar o preço exorbitante da Edição Deluxe) inclui dois CDs e um DVD. O CD 1 contém destaques de Studio Rarities, enquanto o CD 2 contém destaques de Live Rarities. O DVD é o Disco Três Family Jewels.
O box externo foi projetado para se assemelhar a um amplificador de guitarra AC/DC vintage e também tem o logotipo original que foi pintado com spray na parte traseira do alto-falante de Angus e Malcolm Young em 1975.
Studio Rarities reúne raridades de estúdio do AC/DC, muitas das músicas em CD pela primeira vez. Estas são músicas que a banda gravou ao longo de sua carreira e que apareceram em lançamentos de LPs exclusivos na Austrália, trilhas sonoras de filmes, lançamentos de singles de 7" e 12" e "edições de turnê" de CD, etc.
